Winter Sessions
Winter Sessions 2023
Winter Sessions is a beer festival run by Hatfield College JCR and MCR every year. There will be a selection of specialty beers and ciders from around the country. This year we will also have a specialty college drink as well as mulled cider and mulled wine. There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic options.
Our specialty drinks will be announced on social media in the run up to the event.
College catering will be offering a specialty dish for dinner and you will be have the opportunity to purchase a discounted meal ticket along with your entry wristband (please do not purchase the meal ticket if you already have college catering).
In addition to the traditional festive atmosphere of Winter Sessions we will be hosting a Winter Olympics in the afternoon. The Olympics will comprise four events: Aqua Pong, Boat Race, Flip Cup, and Stack Cup, using the beverage of your choice purchased from the bar (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). If you wish to take part, please sign up in teams of 5! The sign up form will be sent via email. At the end of the Olympics there will be an exec vs exec round in which teams from the Hatfield JCR executive committee and MCR executive committee will compete against one another.
The event will run from 2pm to 11pm in the Hatfield Bar on Saturday 2nd December 2023.
