This candidate will have creative autonomy over designing their dream ball. You will be in charge of organising your own executive team in terms of innovating your creative vision, budgeting and overseeing the ball on the day. If you are creative, organised and have a drive for event planning - this role is for you!

This candidate will function as the Treasurer for our most iconic ball. You will work alongside the Chair to allocate finances, and hold the main responsibility over budgeting within the ball. Previous experience is not required as training on budgeting will be provided, but a background in Mathematics is recommended.

This candidate will work alongside the Welfare team to promote the interests of Men’s Mental Health through the college, during Welfare meetings and at DSU forums.

This position will work along with the Campaigns Rep in organising our Men’s Mental Health Campaign and aid the Welfare Officer in constructive training for the JCR.

This candidate will work alongside the Welfare team to ensure Hatfielders living abroad are still connected to college. You will be able to represent students at DSU forums and Welfare forums.

You will have the opportunity to host information events to maintain a point of contact with livers-abroad and college, as well as, host weekly 2-hour drop-ins.

This candidate will work closely with the Communities Officer in order to represent the interests of those with disabilities in Hatfield. You will be able to lead your own executive team to assist in running campaigns of your choosing and ensure all aspects of the JCR and college are accessible.

You will also have the opportunity to represent the JCR at a university level, working with the Students with Disabilities Assosciation (SwDA), helping publicise events and facilitate attendance of JCR members.

This role is perfect for someone looking to promote intersectionality across Hatfield and gain valuable leadership & organisational skills.

At no time will you be required to disclose any private information about yourself within those role.

Leading the Tech Team for the whole JCR, the tech manager will ensure equipment is stored and logged, as well communicate with the Exec. for all matters concerning equipment. Training will be provided for sound and lighting equipment.

This position will act as a representative between the Common Room and the Board of Trustees. This will include helping the Common Room in welfare events, outreach within the North East and organising major social events. This candidate shares the values of advocating for student rights, representation and experience. This requires the ability to critically scrutinise the organisation to provide the best experience for the Common Room.
