Hatfield College Women’s Association Football Club

Whether you can bend it like Beckham or are just intrigued about trying something new, women’s football is for you! We are a really inclusive club, who compete in the college league and have a great time while we do it. As with all clubs, there is a strong social side to being a member.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about women’s football at Hatfield, we would love to hear from you!

Club Captain, Rebecca Moran.

Hatfield College Women’s Rugby Football Club (HCWRFC)

Whilst many colleges have to join together to have enough women to form a women’s rugby team, Hatfield boasts 2 teams and are very proud of doing so! Most of our players have never tried women’s rugby before coming to Hatfield, but that is no barrier as our ‘experienced’ coaches will teach you everything you need to know. Alongside playing, we have one of the strongest social calendars in college, with regular evenings together combined with bigger, fancy-dress nights to keep everyone entertained!

For more information about the club, or to learn how to get involved with HCWRFC, please contact Club Captain, Georgina Dunbar.

Hatfield College Netball Club (HCNC)

If netball is your thing, you're sure to find a team that suits you amongst HCNC's 3 regular sides. The netball club benefits from having a court right in the centre of college. Training, which takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is on the college court, and we often play our weekend matches on our own doorstep. Many Hatfielders play netball for the university, and often come and pass their expertise on to us. All three of our teams rank highly in their individual leagues, and over the past few years, the A team have won the league and knockout cup several times.

Socially, HCNC is the biggest women's club at Hatfield, and regularly joins up with other teams and colleges for joint socials.

For more information about netball in Hatfield contact Club Captains, Charlotte Thorogood and Bethan Davies.
