Men's Clubs

Hatfield College Association Football Club (HCAFC)

HCAFC are up there with the biggest clubs in Hatfield, with enough players for 4 regular teams, and then a couple more teams who fancy themselves in the cup. The league matches are played on Wednesday afternoons and at the weekend, with 2 cup competitions, a weekly trip to Soccarena and a post-exam European tour bulking out the playing calendar. The social side of the club is strong too, with highlights including the annual dance-off in Michaelmas term and a trip to Newcastle sometime before Easter.

For more information about HCAFC get in touch with our Club Captains, Will Hanway, Mark Hickling or Elliot Charles.

Hatfield College Rugby Football Club (HCRFC)

Hatfield have a strong rugby pedigree and are the smallest college to field two teams every week. Both ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams train every week of the season and play against other college sides on Wednesday afternoons and at the weekend. After Easter we put teams in for a few 7s tournaments and go on tour to Europe; recent destinations include Budapest, Alicante, Talinn, Malta and Bratislava. Whatever your standard of play, from beginner to a Uni player needing game-time, you’ll be most welcome to come down and get involved with HCRFC.

For more information contact Club Captain, Matthew Price.

Hatfield College Cricket Club (HCCC)

What better way to enjoy the better weather after Easter than by donning the whites and playing cricket for Hatfield? HCCC have 3 teams that net before Easter and play afterwards, whilst leaving space for exams in between. Our teams cater for a wide range of standards, so there’ll be a team for you however good you are – come down and give it a go.

For more information, get in touch with Club Captains Tom Elmslie and Nick Friend.
